Program
Vocal & Veena performances of RagaChitra Students
RagaChitra students of all ages, all levels will showcase their talents and their progress in learning music.
They would present bhajans, geethams, varnams and kirthanais as solo or group performances. They will enthrall the audience
with vocal & veena performances for about 2 hours.
Performances of phone & online students
Phone & online students who are not able to travel to NY are not left behind.
Video recordings of their performances will be shown.
Mini concerts
Senior students of RagaChitra will present mini concerts.
Hemalatha Rao loves music and has been learning Carnatic vocal & veena for more than 10 years.
She is also learning Hindustani vocal. She practices nuclear medicine in NY.
Janani Kannan is passionate about carnatic music.
She has been training in carnatic music in Chennai and in the US. She is one of the lead singers of Ragachitra Classical Choir.
She is an architect by profession.
Samyuktha ShivRaj is a versatile singer, proficient and
comfortable in singing carnatic music, American popular music & Bollywood music. She is the lead vocalist of
Ragachitra Classical Choir & Charanams.
She is also the host of our TV show "RagaChitram" and "India Talks" that is aired in public Telivision in New York City.
Namo Narayana by RCC
Ragachitra Classical Choir will present Annamacharya Kirthanais from their production "Namo Narayana".
RCC has presented several productions. "Veena Isai Thendral", "RanjanI Mala" are a few of them.
Dinner & Light Music
Delicious dinner with live music!!
RagaChitra students are talented and they not only sing classical music but also bollywood & pop songs.
It's time to have fun and entertain the audience.
